Questions and Answers

Do I need a license to issue Parking Tickets?
No — unlike clamping no license is needed.

What are the signs made of?

The signs are made of a weather proof plastic (correx) and are 45cm wide and 60cm high (click here for samples)

Can the restriction on the signs be customised?

Yes alternative text can be added i.e. “Parking for customers of Tesco whilst using the premises only” at an additional cost of £15 + Vat per sign, see order form.

How do we get this service in place?
Simply complete the order form (click here for details) with the necessary information, sign and return with payment (credit/debit card or cheque), your order will be dispatched within 3-4 working days of receipt.

Will you send out a representative to see us?
Unfortunately we do not offer this service; this is because we have found that our clients wish to keep their costs to a minimum. If we were to send out a representative to prospective clients for this service, it would be very costly compared to the current charges advertised.

Who is responsible for erecting the signs?
You the client are responsible, although it is very simple and full instructions are included with the order, simply use silicone, screws, nails or cable ties.

Do I have pay a monthly or annual charge once I purchase the kit?

No monthly or annual charges are due.

Do I receive any money from the Parking Charge Notice?

Yes you will receive £10.00 inc of Vat compensation payment issued at the end of the month, monthly in arrears on all paid PCN’s, this not only makes the whole process self funding but helps cover any costs you or your representative may have issuing PCN’s.

Do I have to pay for additional Parking Charge Notices?

Yes there is a small charge of £10.00 + £5.00 P&P + Vat for a duplicate pad of 20 PCN’s and waterproof pockets, your first book is Free so by the time you need your second you could have potentially received £200.00 in compensation payments.

We already have No Parking signs but it has not stopped illegal parking.
As you can see from our signs (click here to see samples) they clearly show our company details therefore people pay more attention to these as nobody wishes to receive a parking ticket; for the few that may ignore them, the PCN takes care of those.

What happens if vehicles don’t pay the PCN.

The details of the registered keeper will be requested from the DVLA and passed over to our retained Collections Company who will pursue collection; in addition to this should the offending vehicle be seen on site again it will be removed and impounded as PCN’s our outstanding against the vehicle

Can I cancel Parking charge Notice?

Yes you can if you make a mistake, this must be carried out within 3 days of issue otherwise we will be unable to cancel the PCN.
